    Ah, very cool. I was just confused by the original post and forgot about stadium tickets. Congrats and good luck. Road trips are the freaking best; get an FIU dancers number for us (but don't catch anything.)

    funny you said that cause in Hot Springs my friend actually was in talks with an FIU dancer for about a day and a half lol but lets be honest, they had nothing (as for the rest of the SB dancers) on our dancers... Have always thought we had the nicest looking cheerleaders/dancers... hands down

    Wait -- is he just ordering the tickets online for you? Letting you put your miles on his card? I'm confused.

    game tickets.. ya i know fiu football tickets are not that expensive, just the fact i can email my AD at my University, get a response and then also get a little help from him... just thought it was a cool gesture from RV..

    Me and my roomate were scratching and clawing to find a way to get to Miami for the opener. As Sophmores no way financially this could be done, so therefore I reached out to our AD Rick Villarreal. I asked him if there was anyway possible he could help me and my buddy out. He replied by saying the plane was full but if we wanted to scrap up money for the flight he would get us tickets. So although not sure if we have the money to go still or not, i just wanna thank RV for helping us out and making an effort to students like me and my friend.

    PS. If anyone wants to help us out it would be so greatly appreciated!!!!

  6. Did Alonzo Edwards have knee surgery in the off season?

    I thought it was mention last year that Alonzo E. was having knee problems last year. Is this true? If so, did Mr. Edwards have knee surgery in the off season?

    When I talked to him and Ked they both informed me that yes they did have there knees cleaned.. Both are regulars at the rec as well and seem to be healthy, especially Ked who has absolutely shown more hops and has had some nasty jams

    Me 2 roomates and a friend will be there... staying in a shack in benton but will be there cheering on our fellow student athletes... big things in hot springs for the mean green... by the way im trademarking that (big things in hot springs) GMG

    I almost won a free trip to the tournament because my girlfriend was selected to do the halftime trivia during Saturdays game. Unfortunately she was the runner up because I did not know how many career wins Johnny Jones had. Now I am hoping UNT will bus students like they did last year.

    They are taking the shuttle agian... go to mean green sports and there is a place to sign up im pretty sure... or check your unt email, they sent me one

    I agree Shaft, but really great air fees and going into Ft. Lauderdale then Miami is another huge plus to me. Haven't flown them...but I thought the rates were incredible.

    this is beautiful my friend.. im in college, tough money but if i somehow find the money believe me, me and my roomate will somehow make it

    so me and my roomates are going to hot springs and i need some help... im a college kid and need somewhere to stay and need it cheap if possible.. please help cause im clueless in this area... also what is there to do during off time when our guys and non interest games come about... thanks for your help and im planning on staying 4 or 5 days if possible :ph34r:

    I will most certainly be there for the rest of the season. I'm not expecting us to win out, but I'm not expecting us to lose out either.

    The intensity just isn't the same as it was at the beginning of the season. Bodies aren't flying and people aren't going all out for loose balls or tipped passes. It just isn't the same.

    can that change though? heck yeah it can... the team needs to become a team again and we got 5 games left before tourney time to prove it... if we somehow find that fire again (aka the team against lsu) we can take this puppy

    but.. after talks with both kedrick and shannon (they just commented on how they dont mind the media and previous losses, they still believe and stated we will win in hot springs) i still believe... now when i say believe im not saying win any ncaa tourney games or even the confrence championship game but what i do think is, is that were going down fighting, that were coming back home gonna beat S. Alabama gain confidence and carry it for a bit... knowing a 1st rd bye is gonna be really hard to get in Hot Springs a ncaa berth will be hard. Notice how i didnt say impossible, and if we happen to win out and get hot and somehow get a bye heck yeah i do believe we have as good as shot as anyone in hot springs... i might get jumped all over by the non believers and what not but thats ok this is just what i beleive...

    p.s - the last thing this team needs is us as UNT faithful not showing up and failing to support... you might say they have given up on eachother, jj, etc. but if they see us still believing and showing up (yes even to hot springs if we dont get a bye) then maybe just maybe we can get something sparked up here and get something rolling for a memorable finish...

  22. Is A Postpone Of The Fau Game Possible

    I sure hope not... I have hyped this game up to my friends and family all year long and i cant wait any longer.. OU v. Baylor (at llyod noble but thats pretty close) has been postponed and even the NHL game between Colorado and St. Louis has... I think we should be ok but im not much of a weather guru and wanted to ask yall what the chances are that FAU cant make it or whatever the case is in which the game gets postponed...

    Played Ball With Tony Mitchell Last Night

    As a student here at UNT i like to use my resources, so last night i decided to go play some ball at the Rec (just like i do just about every night). Anyways me and my friend were there and he spotted Tony, after being hesitant I decided what the heck i should ask him to play. I went over and introduced myself and told him how happy I was he picked UNT, he was very nice and told me it was the best fit for him, i went on to ask him when he would play (already knew answer was just making sure) and he told me after 1st semester like all of us already know. For the game, wow! stupid athletic, he might have been going 5% yet was a freak athlete. he put on a show for sure.Between legs,360ed, and a free throw line dunk. It was stupid crazy.

    PS: Kederick was there last night and we talked and i asked him what was up and he said our minds have been on the Tourney and we aint taking care of business. He also said he cant wait to prove all the haters wrong and told me a hot streak is coming. Him and Tony seemed to be very close too. They talked for a good hour about coach Jones and just basketball in general. It was a great night for sure... Sorry wish i had little more info but anyways GMG!! :goodjob:
