  1. Unless McCasland & co are going to play very small, I doubt you see much of AJ at the 4, but then again who isn't throwing 4 guard lineups out there nowadays. If this kid can establish a consistent jump shot, the ceiling is the roof. As a frosh, the most encouraging thing I saw was his relentless attack of the rim. Good nose for the ball, think you'll see a great improvement defensively, just based off structure & system. Getting Woolridge & AJ to stay was arguably Benford'd best recruiting win. Both kids have the chance to be very special.

  2. Way too young. I am not too familiar with the situation & didn't know Willie personally but anyone who did, has spoken very highly of the man he was. Many former players have reached out to pay tribute to Willie, but looks as if he has passed due to cancer. Some things just don't make sense, let's keep the Hubbard family in our thoughts & prayers.

Ivery was one of my favorite signees in his class.  I think he has a special ability to make people miss in the open field.  I would like to see the coaching staff give him more opportunities to demonstrate that (I think this offense and staff will).

Has to prove he can stay out of trouble first.. Agree though, Willie is dynamic and can help this football team in multiple ways..

Not even close to T-Mitch type scenario. He is very limited offensively, great player yes. But tap the brakes.

Wasn't comparing skill level, obviously Tony had the much higher ceiling.. Was just making note that T Mitch transferred in from Mizzou after being a highly touted DFW product much like Allen.. nonetheless would be thrilled if Allen was interested..

We weren't really playing it safe, just not winning any recruiting battles. Personally, I haven't found myself rooting for a recruit much more than I am Mason. Maybe it's his story and all the good stuff being said about him but something about him just screams underdog story that you'd love to see work out.

But nothing about this class so far can be differentiated from previous McCarney classes in which we didn't win recruiting battles either. It could be that Littrell ends up having a better eye for hidden gems but that's yet to be seen obviously.

Bro, the dude has been here for what, a month and a half?? Coming off a 1 & 11 season to boot too.. if you expected to bring in a boat load of 3 & 4 stars you're kidding yourself.. Building rapport with HS coaches looks to be in the works, & by the looks of the use of social media, this staff gets it.. It will take patience but I personally love what I've been seeing
