I'm getting old and my memory isn't what it used to be but I seem to recall that Waters did play on the defense line one of his years at North Texas.

Your right I did some research and found his college stats. Starting tight end for 1st 3yrs .. moved to Defensive End for senior year while also serving as backup tight end and even played some fullback.

Senior Year Stats : 16rec for 380yds , 66 tackles & 5 sacks

How about keeping the same quaterback, and rotating coaches ?

Now thats probably the best idea ive heard since Ive joined here. But could we expand the coaching staff to include Jones & Hedlund among others.Im sure they could do no worse.

I was never able to see Brain Waters play , but I would think he would of atleast been in the Top 5 of all time NT players just based on his NFL career. Anyone who saw him play agree/disagree ?

Could you HONESTLY say UNT could have done any better ?? We would of lost by a combo of 10 TDs at least. I hate to say that , but I Keeps It Real!!

[Dodge's Ties w/ UT]

From everything Ive ever heard ( altought Ill admit not a whole lot) He's not all that strongly tied to his old school.

Id be willing to bet that Major Applewhite would be much more sought after for Head coach than Dodge.. If Brown is to ever step down or take another post that is.

Just wandering , how many SL have ever commited to UT under Dodge. I know year in year out they have several DI signing.. but cant recall off the top of my head how many have landed in Austin

If anyones got this info or anything concrete about Dodge and his ties ( other than he went there ) please post. Curious minds want to know

I WOULD LOVE to have Magee.. He would personally be my #1 choice behind Dodge. I put Dodge ahead based soley on the immediate impact he could have on recruiting.

Paul Petrino- I considered him , but I honestly cant see him leaving. I think if he waits his time a bigger,better job that UNT will arise.

I tried just to put some names up that people would recognize. But if UNT goes the College Route Magee would be my ideal Offensive Head Coach and DeLoach Head Deffensive Coach.

Was going to be 20K before MUTs game...

5,000 I believe are Done with " we only have 8 plays " DD & RV... so that leaves us with about 15,000... But then I saw 2,500 or so jumping over the brige and into oncoming traffic near McDonalds after the game.. No Surviors.

So that leaves us with 12,500..... 7,500 will be gone at the Half ... Another 1,000 after the 3rd QT.

So by the end of the game we should have an est. 4,000.... 3,000 of which will be in a brown bag!!

Let's say WW actually took the road more traveled and ended up at Arkansas?? Think about just how bad we'd really be !!! We would of got beat by SMU and I thinhk the only TD we would have would be that blocked punt vs. the Stangs.
