Theres a lot of truth in this but it aint new. I was telling people tailgating yesterday that we couldn't pay our friends down in Fort Worth to come join us for a tailgate and a game. When you can't buy peoples tickets and still get them to come.. you might have a problem.

Please for the love of God make this happen. I love College Baseball and would be a huge supporter of a program. Pretty sure it might even have a better following than Basketball of which we try to support extensively.

Its very true in their thinking and a prestige level is definitely what turns folks away. As far as apparel sold in Fort Worth for instance it has pretty much always been UT until TCU started winning and the community hopped on their bandwagon. Following TCU's line of success isn't that difficult. Take advantage of the opportunity to move up and play better teams, create a program that can dominate them and promote the hell out of the program. The University needs to create a local TV partner (used to be 52 how bout 21 now?). Needs to put more ad's out there. Needs to make the merchandise more readily available to buy. Needs to get walmart, target etc selling UNT stuff. They have to quit being stubborn and promote the brand.

Agreed. A MWC with Boise and Airforce makes me reconsider but not for that. Sunbelt has the better regional games, and in the long run the best bet for all sports. Won't doubt if they call though.

Sounds about right. One thing I can agree with ESPN on. Sad part is public perception is that the Sunbelt is a FCS conference.

Its a great opportunity to promote the brand. I would come to at least one of the playoff games in UNT gear to try and show that people at North Texas really care about things and its the place to be. Price has to be reasonable.. no reason for the admin to try and make us look elitist and out of "range".

I am just completely pissed that the University is allowing it to go on there. Thats an outrage.. everyone else has to use the damn free speech area and even RESERVE it. While ludicrous.. quite a double standard. The University is showing its hypocrisy and President Rawlings himself needs to step in.

Dropping the quarterback early in the first is rough. The team didn't show much heart after that which is pretty concerning, but all in all A-State is much more talented this year. The week off should definitely help get the mental aspect of the game fixed, and lend time to heal. Troy hasn't looked good at all so here is a great chance to get that road win!
