Read on the MUTS board that Bomar enrolled at Houston.
I haven't read this anywhere else. Anyone else hear this?

http://www.collegefootballnews.com/Sun_Bel...xas_preview.htm
The CFN website has everything up except for the 2006 Schedule predictions. I assume they'll get around to doing all that for the Sun Belt in late August or so. Other Sun Belt teams are there as well if you sub out the name in the web address.
-
Considering ASU is the defending Sun Belt champion, you'd think this would've been a hotter recruiting class.
I think we already learned the hard way that being the SunBelt champion doesn't leave potential recruits weak in the knees.
The thing that most surprises me about the ASU class is that they picked up 4 of the top 17 players in Arkansas according to Rivals.
Is the talent that bad in Arkansas? Surely not.

It appears that the NCAA is not appalled with ASU for their mascot, but with their state. See #8.

College Football News has put out the first of their Pre-preseason Rankings and show Jamario on the front page - UNT ranked #111 out of 119.

Brad Kassell had an INT for a TD in the 4th qtr today against Baltimore.
Sweet.

Didn't see this posted yet.
__________
Blue Raider bashed: Linebacker Brad Kassell said receiver Tyrone Calico paid up promptly after his alma mater, North Texas, beat Calico's alma mater, MTSU.
"He should go ahead and pay me for next year's game, I would guess," Kassell said. "I see a trend and I don't see it changing anytime soon. I mean, we're dominating the Sun Belt."

If you're referring to the Mean Green article in ESPN magazine, the issue is dated 9/12/05. I read it in a doc's office this week and took everything in me to not take it home.
Here's a "Buy it now" link on ebay for the mag copy.

homepages.cae.wisc.edu/~dwilson/rsfc/rate/index.html
This is a great site. It's maintained by David Wilson, a Senior Information Processing Consultant up in Wisconsin and has links to probably any college football ranking you could ask for.
___________
Here is also a sub-link for a college football comparison by Massey Ratings. This is pretty interesting in that it consolidates 38 separate I-A ranking systems into one page.
www.masseyratings.com/cf/compare.htm
You can click on a specific rating system at the top of this page to see how all teams pan out in that system. The Mean Green are ranked as high as #21 in one system and as low as #100 in another.
___________
There is also the general site for Massey Ratings:
This has ratings for almost any sport you could ask for. You want to know about Division III Women's College Lacrosse rankings? You found the right place.
Enjoy!

Scott Davis - 1988. He QB'ed the team that upset Texas Tech 29-24, lost to UT on bad calls 24-27, and beat Rice 33-17 that year.
