It was wall to wall Mean Green at the Pourhouse. Lots of people in both rooms, but really rowdy in the auditorium. They did a good job. I hope for the same when the team travels to Alabama.

Yes, Pourhouse was definitely the place to be! It was my first time there and I thought it was a lot of fun. Pretty nice media room they've got set up there.

In the interim, I wonder what the cost comparison would be between playing at Fouts vs. contracting to play at Pizza Hut Park.

Of course, it would probably mean no more free student tickets and considerably higher parking costs, but it sure as hell would send a message to the City of Denton.

But at what cost? We have enough trouble getting students to walk across campus or drive a mile or two from their apartments to go to games at Fouts. Move the game 30 minutes away and start charging them for it and you may as well say goodbye to half your student attendance.

I would think any physical modifications of the campus (being state property) including digging a giant hole in it, would absolutely need approval.

“The reason we do 7-on-7 games is because it gives us a chance to look at everybody,” NT head coach John Hedlund said. “Teams are usually a little short because their seniors just graduated and their recruiting class isn’t there yet, so we get a chance to look at kids that usually don’t get to play and I get a chance to do things that I normally wouldn’t do during the fall season.”

In addition to what he said, think about this: We've only got 16-17 girls right now and one is still out on injury (Amanda Mitchell). If they played 11-on-11, there wouldn't be enough to sub for everyone and some would play the whole game. With 4 games, that would be exhausting.

I think this is a practice field or Denia. Their new softball complex is still being "made". There are construction workers doing stuff out there every week. I don't think it's even got the red dirt yet.
