You were watching a different game if you think we played a flawless first half. Missed layups, dunks, several turnovers.....
You should read again. Im referring to the girls and Peterson. I don't think the girls tried to dunk.

did anyone happen to hear the end of the women's game? petersen was talking to bartalotta (sp?) within 45 seconds after the end of the game and he was pissed at the girls, his staff and himself. not that he's doing a bang up job, but at least he's accountability.
i watched the whole game. He passes the eyeball test for me. He was constantly engaged coaching someone up. They played a flawless first half, but they turned the ball over 10+(without the stats in front of me ) and missed to many free throws in the second half.
The girls have themselves a good little team i think. All three freshman made impact plays, Laura mccoy shoots the 3 better than any mens basketball player we have, and once Godbolt gets back I expect the defense and inside presence to improve.

I thought the oline, tight ends, and rbs all played good this season. The oline was outstanding.

You are correct. TCU has a great advantage over the UT's and OU's. Small, private school with a better education. Fort Worth is an easy city to sell to recruits. TCU was 8-4 this year with a win over UT and is as young as we are.
Their future is very bright in the Big 12.
Did I mention they are one of the few teams left in the Big 12 that actually play defense?
They also have a great coach. I think they have a good chance to succeed in the Big 12.

I was really holding out hope that we would add another QB and go after the young man from Canyon Randall.
Im wondering if he is satisfied with the transfer and high school recruit, and is already looking ahead hoping to get a couple of good qbs in the next class. Just a thought i had.

One of his players just might be an academic casualty...but that's not his fault.

dont think anyone is saying it isnt his fault. You just seem to be miserable and want to raise hell about stuff because things arent going your way. I see you complain about both coaches. If they are bad hires, the AD needs to go. I can promise you Benford and DMac are working as hard as possible to right their respective ships.

If we're really going hypothetical...how about Georgia loses to Georgia Tech - then beats Alabama next week. Florida loses to FSU. I wonder where we'd stand then.
Oregon would seemingly be next inline, but unless UCLA beats Stanford Saturday (tossup game since it's in Pasadena) - Oregon wouldn't win their division of the Pac 12, much less the conference. ND and Kansas State could backdoor in or something like that.
I want this to happen. More BCS chaos please!

I was at the game. A lot of disgruntled fans. You could see the loss coming early on. Patterson is a great coach.

Seems to me the argument is that only conference champions should be allowed to play in the BCS Title game. My question is why the tougher standard for college football and not any other sport?
Every other sport at any level has a playoff and teams play their way to a championship. I prefer that and do find it strange that a team can win their conference and get left out in the current system. I do love the chaos for now though!

So when a wild card team wins the Super Bowl, a non top 3 seed wins the NBA Ch7ampionship (Dallas two years ago) or a UCONN (6th in the Big East ) wins the Final Four all is okay with it?, but for college football we think we have to have a higher standard then every other sport?

Florida will be on upset alert playing Florida State. I expect Notre Dame to win against USC without Barkley, but that stud receiver Lee is no joke.

He's just an average qb who isn't consistent. Im pulling for him though as he is our guy for this season at least.

yip, every year people want to say the sec is overrated, yet they seem to always play in the nc game.
Is every team other than Alabama overrated? Pretty much. You must watch a lot of ESPN.

Disagree. Several time he turned around as if trying to see who hadn't got to play that half.
Benford wasn't as bad as in previous games but...
but CJ, Alzee, and JW played the first 7 minutes before coming out. The starters played 5 minutes to start the second half to start the 21-0 run. Once it was 64-20 he was getting guys playing time. Id say he is figuring the rotations out.

I was at the game and let me tell you...he's close, a couple were in and out... I think he'll be fine...he is pushing too hard and there's a lot of pressure on him right now but I think once he gets over the jitters and the mental block he could be very very good...he has great form.
