After finishing 4-8 a year ago, finishing 9-4 this season is a nice turnaround for the Mean Green.
I would say it was a great year but one that was so very close to being even greater. This team was close in and legitimately could have won every game outside of Georgia and even that game was looking good for 3 quarters. The future certainly looks brighter than it has in many moons.

There will be parking aplenty. If they can accommodate TX-OU while the state fair is going on then just a bowl game alone isn't a problem. The benefit of the parking pass will be where you get to park.

Speaking of Navarro/Corsicana, whatever happened to Christian Hines? I think that was his name. He was a WR that was a gray shirt.
He was at Navarro and on the roster but not playing
-
Navarro is pretty good pipeline of players. It's not your average juco team they play some hard ball down here. He missed some time this year but has the tools to develop into a pretty good QB.

What color green should I wear?
Granny Apple of course.

With Texas being a mess would be nice if he decided to stay home and play.

I love Sack n Save. Only place I shopped during the poorest time of my undergrad.
I liked it better when it was Gibsons

My money is on Briles to end up in Washington DC
I would take that bet. Briles won't leave the state and most likely stays at Baylor.

That can't be good on the turf to scrape that ice off and I would also think it would pull up a lot of the bbs with the ice too. Seems like it would have been a lot better to let it melt.

So did the new prez request this?

Not known for his recruiting ethics.
But he can recruit as Houston Nutt proved at Ole Miss.

SOC beating Centennial wasn't a huge surprise last night but the way they dominated them was. Fonzale and their QB Arthur will both start to gather more interest as they move on.

I must admit I hope it's the Liberty Bowl or Heart of Dallas Bowl.
HOD against Michigan or Iowa would be my first choice unless playing in the Liberty Bowl means a conference championship.

Yep it said it was a $25 deposit but ended up charging the full boat. Just hope I get a full refund if in the unlikely event things don't pan out.

CUSA wants to keep its bowls, that why we are seeing articles about CUSA moving its champion to HOD (TO KEEP THE RELATIONSHIP)
Since after this year HOD is supposed to be the CUSA every year and alternating with B12 and B10 that would make sense.

I didn't know he was a Republican.

I would like the match up against the Notre Dame offense.

This goal line stand will replace the Cash "Catch" for me as the most remembered moment and I am glad something finally takes its place.

I am pretty sure our coaches would have preferred us being at a football game over the things we were usually out doing on Halloween.

North Texas has a 2nd chance and shouldn't let Cam slip away again. Splitting time with Tim Wright he has still put up about 80 yards a game and averaged 6 yards a carry this year.

Thanks for the Cameron Washington highlight videos. Very impressive RB.
Tell us about the big OL players that block for Washington.
Thanks
Charlie
Big is Junior #62 Jeffrey Jordan 6'7" 350 lbs, and that is all legit size. He is going to get a lot of looks after the season.
The biggest prospect at the moment is Senior #71 Roclan Drain 6'4" 260lbs, his body can actually hold a lot more bulk and he is pretty trim right now. He has had offers from Air Force, Rice and others. He had been leaning to Sam Houston but that might change after the season as I am sure there will be more offers come his way.
Sophomore #70 Chris Jones 6' 270lbs will be a prospect going forward. He is playing center and with maturity should be really good. He is still growing.
Senior #66 Charleston Beard 6'2" 260 is a very athletic player and could probably play tight end with a little time.
Junior #51 Floyd Shrestha 5'10" 220 may not have the size or athleticism as the other guys but is hard working grinder type and was able to beat out some other bigger guys for the spot this year.
Big thank you to The City of Dallas and an idea

Recruiting? Playing a game at the Cotton Bowl during the state fair or Cowboys stadium anytime creates a recruiting visibility with kids that you just can't get at home. Some pretty good high school players within a few minutes of either location that might not make a trip to Denton.
