It would be one thing to say Dr. Bataille places an emphasis on academics or music... but to say she doesn't know football just because she is a woman?
Ask the Prez what defensive scheme we ran this year..ask HER what it takes to recruit these players away from other texas schools..I can assure you she won't have a clue.

Who did the recruting, Deloach did on D if I remember right.
Who was responsiable for replaceing Deloach, when he left for UCLA?
Just proves DD got lucky with DeLoach nothing else.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while.
Deloach was a good coah and still is today but the last year Deloach was here Evans called the plays. I remember reading that in the paper a few years ago after he left. I can assure you Deloach did NOT recruit to many def. players for that particular team either but I can check my sources..And I have a question for you my friend...Have you EVER strapped one on in your life?

Or when the coach gets fired because of his losing record, and he goes and tells his players he got fired because he can't recruit.
That is the excuse "Littte Man" RV gave him for the firing...I am glad he was truthful to the players...They need to hear what the wonderful AD thinks about them!

Well some of you jokers are saying bye bye Matress Mac.??..The guy donated a ton of money to NT. I was told he was to donate more in the future but I guess the nickel and dime donations from this board will round up some money..NOT!

Well my friends RV just ended more funding for NT. Your nickel and dime donations really don't add up like the million Mac gave. I was told Mac was to donate even more money in the future. Guess you mean green boarders will raise that kind of money! NOT!

RV has had it out for DD since the beginning.Take my work on this! He will hire a buddy just like Jones, just like Mandy, just like Dustin..wait and see. This has been the problem since day 1. He wants "his" people in here.

Let's go ahead and start the DD excuses for next year NOW for whoever they hire as new coach....... EXAMPLES-DD ran the team down, this is why we suck AGAIN this year...DD's recruiting classes sucked, Wait until the NEW coach gets his own recruiting class ECT. ECT. ECT......... Take my word , all of you will make these very excuses for the next 2-3 years if not longer because truth is...NT will never top what DD has done for this university... Not that he did not make mistakes but let's just see if this DREAM coach you all so desire can make it to the BIG time! From what I understand we still play teams like Texas, Oklahoma and Ark. Wait and see if the above happens!

If you jokers actually think that the coaches work long hours and practice and don't give a damn about winning and the university?... then you are stupid. What is someone going to say after getting beat?? We suck? The other team is better?This team was already down after this loss and you people think the coaches don't care? I can plainly tell that none of you have ever coached 1 day in your life, well other then pee wee football. I can't think of one coach that WANTS to lose or does not care about winning. After getting beat once again.. I am sure nothing the coaches can say will make anyone happy around here but to say they don't care is really not very smart. Think before you type a stupid message and let's get to the real problems here.

My opinion is DD is a good coach however he has put his trust in Flanagan as the Offensive coordinator. I think DD is too nice a guy to fire Flanagan as OC and it is killing the team... Get rid of Flanagan his contract is a non factor.... at least start there NOW.... TODAY....
Flanagan issues:
1) Can't recruit
2) Primadona
3) Can't make adjustments during game
4) Not a team player
5) Would rather fight with a fan than be a leader
I think this guy is so interested in going to the next level such as another team that he could care less about NT. Time for him to go NOW and let him have his dream... TODAY 10/25/06 let him go...
If it sounds like I don’t care for Flanagan, you are right. I don’t care for people with attitudes and especially those that aren’t team players… Maybe he will come after me in the stands…. That would be just fine… that is if I am at the game…

Dickey needs health insurance and we need a new head coach.
I think a guy that almost died is due some respect... the insurance comment is bad form.... He may have issues with coaching but is a good person and life is more important than football..

Look at the Rivals 100 board and recruiting and see how many recruits Flanagan has signed... Oh, I forgot he is too good to spend his time on this... You would think the OC could sign some recruits..
The attitude of the team is not what it should be and it starts with Flanagan who is too good for this and a terrible play caller... He can't make changes during a game on the fly to answer the defense. I know it is easy to criticize others but it is so obvious. Flanagan must go!!! Find a West Coast Offense minded coach and a solid QB and this team will shine...

What is amazing to me is that this happened last year..The offense was 3 and out time after time..kicking from the end zone..the defense had to defend a short field and he changes the def. coor and keeps RF??? I did not understand it last year and I am really puzzeled this year about this. I didnt see a big problem with the defense last year other than they were young and ALWAYS defending a short field. Everyone is so high on the new defense but it is the same ole offense that is really the problem. Does RF know where DD hid the bodies or what??LOL

Flanagan is the problem here . You can't expect the defense to stay on the field the entire game and not give up points. I said this last year when he brought in a new defensive coordinator. You must adapt to what the opponents defense is showing you and make the proper adjustments. I did not care much for his play at SMU and the same is the result here. From the pressbox you have to adapt. THIS is the REAL problem. Let's not just complain here let's offer a solution. Here it is...Remove Flanagan as offensive coordinator and coach and replace him immediately. I feel DD needs to be more involved in the play calling. I am not sure DD is even calling the plays anymore from what I understand.
