His junior year in high school was so astonishing to watch! His numbers were through the roof! I believe what Mason is about to do this year will be talked about for many years to come! Your thoughts?

By the way I’m from Peggs where Mason grew up and have been astonished year to year by the young man!

Do you think he will put up numbers this that will crush records or will it be his senior year?

Sometimes I see Peggs, sometimes I see Locust Grove.  Help out a confused fan?

I can't prove otherwise, but I swear I saw that number once because I wondered if my priority points weren't cutting the mustard and inquired.

Nonetheless, I agree that $3,000 is a helluva jump.

Min for black lot was $2500.

I talked to Conner with the MGSF.  Everybody is right.  Yes, minimum was $2500 - but they then filled the black lot remaining empty spaces with the remaining fans per priority points.

So, no - I didn't pay $2500, but I did have a black pass due to priority points.  I hope my bball tickets help me get there this year.

I always got red/blue with my club seats.  I believe the black lot was something along the lines of $1,000 or $2,000 (I don't recall the exact amount), so it looks like they raised the minimum for that.

I anticipate the red/blue lot is going to be considerably more crowded next year as former black lot space holders and the general public trickle in.  I'm gonna have to make effort to show up early so as to avoid the shithouse that is entry on Bonnie Brae.  Either that, or I'll decide to have a little verbal sparring fun with yellowjackets at the North Texas Blvd entry who don't seem to understand that red and blue parking passes are exactly the same thing.

No, it wasn't $1,000 or $2,000 - they just went on priority points.  So now I have been downgraded on my parking.  I would be willing to spend more I think, but the jump to $3000 is severe.

  4. Anybody get an interpretation on the new parking?  I have always gotten a black lot parking pass with my Club Seats.  Is this going away?

Spaces in the reserved parking lot for football games will be available starting with a $3,000 Mean Green Scholarship Fund donation. Blue lot spots will be available for a $300 donation. Single-game passes to the Blue lot will be available for purchase to the general public.

  5. Done.  This should be a big effort on this board.

  6. Any thoughts on this:

The other day I was watching a video on FB about Freshman Orientation. The Freshman were in the Super Pit.  From the angle of the camera you could see the backdrop or the wall behind the upper section. It looked to me that a section had been either painted or covered with a whitish or gray material. Don't know if they were in the process of changing out that awful looking darkish brown (or whatever color that is)  but I will say it made all the difference in the world. Made it look bright!  If that is indeed what they are doing the Super Pit will not look dank and dark next year. In fact, it will take on a whole new personality. We will feel like we are in a totally different arena. Hope that's what's happening.

    It does look better

North Texas continued to stand toe-to-toe with Marshall during the second half. That's like the side of beef beating up Rocky. Yet, that's what happened.

    North Texas:  Side of Beef

    Marshall:  Rocky Balboa

This is what the last decade has gotten us.
