So MeanGreenSoHo, are you a citizen of Seattle yet or is there a certain waiting period before gaining your citizenship?

I moved to Seattle from Dallas in June... Yes, I miss North Texas sports live action!
Are there any North Texas Alumni in the Seattle or Pacific Northwest area? Also, what happened to the Member Map that used to be on the site? I thought that was a cool feature but can't seem to find it anymore.... Go!

I have not seen anything about it being televised. I don't think any of the NIT consolation bracket games are being televised nationally.

LSU Vice Chancellor Herb Vincent says he does not foresee any obstacles to playing as scheduled. However, he stresses consultation with authorities and facilities personnel will continue Thursday before the final decision.

Rutgers @ Tulane on Saturday night at the Superdome in New Orleans looks like it still will be played.

I agree with Emmitt, just cancel it at this point. The whole weekend is already ruined anyways. My friends and I who were planning on going then going on to New Orleans aren't going to be able to do that now obviously. Even if it is clear and better people who left will be starting to come back and I just see the whole state as one big traffic jam mess.

JJ had signed a longer contract. It really doesn't mean a whole lot unless it greatly added to the buyout cost.
Yeah I think it was a good move by both parties. I know some people had mentioned him as a candidate here (who knows if he really is/was). I just thought the timing was good (by UTA) incase he was a major candidate here.

I've also seen Tubby Smith at Minnesota mentioned as well... feel bad for Johnny - the LSU fans have really turned on him.
Tubby Smith is the perfect big name hire for LSU!!! JJ is a no one from little old North Texas!!!

Checking in from Little Rock. Hank Dickenson was on my flight this morning and chatted with me for a minute when we got in to LIT. He asked me if I already had a ticket and I said no so he said he would take care of me tonight. It's already off to a great start. Now all I have to do if figure out who he gave my name to and where do I go when I get to the arena.

Is anyone travelling to Portland for the Coaches vs Cancer games on the 21st-23rd of November? I took off on the 22nd and am planning to drive to Portland for the games on the 22nd and 23rd at least, maybe the one on the 21st as well but it is an early game I believe.
