UNT vs SMU

UNTexas

Well, we ran the ball better in this game than we did vs Georgia last year. Only difference was, we had an experienced QB who completed some passes to our team, and picked up some passing yards. Or of course, the bigger difference was we ran a kick back and blocked a kick for 14 of our 21 points.

As people rightly pointed out then, you cant count on those things every game. If we had those 2 plays again, this was a game going into the 4th quarter. Sound familiar?

It wasn't great in some of the games, but we sure as hell didn't complete more passes to the other team then our guys...

Ding, ding, ding...

Comparing last night to what we saw last year is ridiculous. At least when DT dropped back to pass against Georgia, you had the hope that something could happen. After the 1st qtr last night, I felt nothing but trepidation every time UNT's QB dropped back to pass, whether it was Greer or McNulty.

And, for once, I agree with what Mac did. If we had continued to try and throw the football with those 2 QBs, the score could have easily been 65-0.

QB is a huge problem. This week will be interesting.
