NT/UT Game Challenge

Recommended Posts

As a current austinite, I can tell you there many guys who have long beards. Just walk down Rainey St or go anywhere in south Austin.

Beards are not a differentiator.

Plenty of weird people in Denton too. The idea was driven by the shirt mottos, not that either characteristic is a differentiator between the two cities.

Just an idea to drum up conversation about the upcoming game (when people ask about the beards) and celebrate follicle freedom.

Haters gonna hate. It's not for everyone.

This whole Duck Commander style trend has gotten WAY outta control.

agreed...so tired of the food catching beards...not a germ-a-fob...but IMO they're pretty gross and hot...crap we live in Texas!

remember Denton looks to Austin for weird trends...so not that original...

Spoken like a true central Texan. If you honestly believe we Dentonites get all of our cues from Austin,

I was never head of class when it came to reading interpretation, but I don't think his post included the word all.

My mom let me know over the weekend that she scored tickets for me and my UT grad stepfather to attend the game. I'm really excited, but I'm still not growing a beard.

Besides, it's on the home side, so as the single point of green in a sea of burnt orange, a beard that angry UTers can grab sounds like a liability if I have to kung-fu my way out.
