Sounds like it's getting out of hand. Our guys seem to be turning it over a bit too much and not hustling on defense. We still got this though.

Well since someone gave me a negative I went ahead and looked it up myself. Maybe that person needs to do some research themselves. He is the same Danny Manning that played for the mavericks.

Well it is getting of hand. Hard to judge since I cannot see the game. Just missing shots and turning over the ball.

This is why I wish we had a better way to view games. Nothing can be told over the radio; other then the fact that we are really struggling.

At least a good game today by the ladies winning 66-58 over UAB. Good tight rotation by Petersen today, with 6 players getting most of the minutes.

Yeah, they seemed to play very well today.

That article by Vito about Vaughns reminded me how it's going to be rough next year without him and Alzee. No one behind CJ to run the point except maybe TJ, but he will be a senior too. Really need a point guard with that last scholly IMO.

Also scary to think what this team will be like after next year without CJ and Jordan in particular. They have 23 of our 31 points right now.

That is why we need to win this year and next. Next season is when I could see Benford gone but at the end. Too many seniors to change it up again. We need to start winning now and it keep it up next season.

Just going off the box score, it's our defense that killed us in the 1st half. We actually shot a nice 46% - but they shot over 57%.

He and Carrington Ward (our other JUCO signee) are both shooting guards. Never seen either play, just going off the evaluations and stats.

Ward is listed at 6'2" and Harris is listed at 6'3", so they'll likely be touted as "combo guards." Ward averages almost 4 assists a game for San Jac but Harris only averaged 1.8 last year and is sitting out this year so he'll be a sophomore next year. Ward could probably be a backup for Jones next year, but he's a shooting guard.

At least the guys are not quitting. I like to see (listen to) that. Still out of reach but not quitting is a step forward I suppose... Not letting it get to out of hand at the end maybe...

You're probably correct there buddy. However, if say we only win 2 or 3 more games this season it's hard to imagine the heat not getting really bad for RV to fire Benford.
