You are generalizing and just plain WRONG https://institutionalresearch.unt.edu/images/factbook18-19.pdf page 52 2017-2018 (pre Covid) Business, Info, Engineering, Healthcare- 3,378 degrees awarded Music and education- 1,488 Also, degree does not correlate with support or "big money", or being "all-in". The numbers do not lie and the generalization does not hold, music is 322 BTW, so the myth that we are a music school is FALSE, we simply have a top rated music school. I am willing to bet the % of degrees awarded is similar to other Universities of or size, etc. There is really no excuse for our underperformance, it is simply , as someone posted earlier, lack of long-term success. sustained WINNING, that's the answer. Finance Major BTW. -

I stand corrected but I don’t count “co-championships”. But, I lived in Denton and I don’t remember any significant press coverage. Great we won exactly one conference championship out right our last year at that level with 7 wins. Inspiring 🙄😂 -

Sanders would not have answered the call and wouldn't be successful at UNT anyway. Like the Cowboys fans perpetually blaming QBs, then coaches, it's misguided. Their problem is the common denomination - Jerry Jones. Yours is your administration that is not committed to winning. It was very obvious at SMU when they weren't, when they decided to be, and when they finally figured out how to be. Boise has very little NIL. Army and Navy have no NIL. UNLV has very little NIL. JMU? TxSt? You could be doing vastly better, and IF coaching is a deficiency, it's a symptom not a root cause. -

Jared Makes A Statement (About The Portal Mess and the bowl)
At the very least, open the transfer portal up after bowl season. I would actually be less embarrassed if we had to forfeit a bowl game due to 77 more departures than if we got smacked by Texas State. At least in that case, it'd be a news story and likely motivate the NCAA to do something for once.- 2
