UNT Professor kicks out student Student wearing A&M shirt

Finally.

And it's not just school spirit, it's a matter of respect. aTm isn't giving you an education or degree. A girl in my public speaking class gave a speech about how she'd always be an Aggie, because her family was comprised of Aggies and she was just using UNT to get her GPA up so she could transfer. It's so classless, it just says to me, "Getting accepted and educated here, and possibly even getting financial aid, that means nothing because my loyalty is to a school that did none of that for me."

Of course, if your idea of loyalty is sticking with those who didn't want you, we do have a very nice Health Services Center as well as a sizeable staff of counselors and psychologists to help you work through those issues...

Professor, I applaud your school spirit. However, I suspect a low-life lawyer is salivating at the thought of bringing a first admendment suit against the instructor, her/hisdepartment chair, and our beloved university.

What the student was expressing was unfortunatte, but still they had a constitutional right to express themselves.

I'll save you all the trouble and award myself a -1 for this post.
