Yet we have fans who will line up to bemoan that fact that local kids won't consider us.

Exactly. If I was an opposing coach who was recruiting a kid from around here that wanted to go to UNT, I pull out Clarke and Scottie and anyone else as prime reasons not to go here.

I stated it in another thread....it is staggering to me that everyone is not going crazy that a kid who GREW UP A MEAN GREEN FAN, is now transferring from the SCHOOL HE LOVES. Some of you can spin it whatever way you want, but that is nutts.

I don't think the true damage of losing JJ will be realized until we play a D2 team.
