The most beautiful thing to come from an utterly failed season.

There wasn't a damn thing wrong with your Kingsbury thread... And it actually was very relevant to North Texas...in that he (Kingsbury) being one of if not THE nations top offensive coordinator, who had just coached up a Hiesman Trophy, yet accepted a 4 year contract to head coach at a Big 12 school.

This is startling when you consider that officials at North Texas constantly repeat the assumption that we could NEVER get such an assistant coach without Head Coaching experience.....even one straight from a HIGH SCHOOL...to come here for less than 5.

So, tell us all again how any of that is anywhere even remotely related to NT football except in your own mind? The way you connect the dots is only to make another one of your many negative comments. Kingsbury took his dream job at Tech. Have you even read his comments about this situation? If there ever was someone who always sees the glass as half empty it might just be you...or the infidel...seem to be pretty much one and the same....you think?

It's related in that Tech got him to sign a 4 year deal where we thought we had to give a HS coach with no college head coaching experience a 5 year deal. Letting Dodge stay for the 4th year so we only bought out 1 year of his contract absolutely damaged this progam.

This is absolutely correct.

I know a 5 year deal is the standard, but Dodge wasn't a standard coach. Set this program back 10 years.

Like you always connect the dots in a relevant way. And BTW, you still haven't learned the difference between critical and negative. I'll give you a hint.....they are not the same.
