This is sad to me...he was trying I saw it first hand against Western Kentucky in Hot Springs...they were close they really were...

This is a tougher league than people give it credit for. I wish him well.

So Thomas says he's shocked because he's never been fired for "basketball" reasons. So the other three times he was fired in the NBA had nothing to do with the win/loss record. However, the thought that he WAS fired for basketball reasons at FIU may be incorrect. According to the ESPN article he was basically a part time head coach and a full time PR hire.
