Howard Sampson starts at North Carolina, Ethan Miner starts at Miss State, and Febechi Nwewu starts at OU let's not forget about them.
At this point, it's a year to year league and you can't fault any player who leaves. The ONLY part about the transfer portal I don't like is when a player goes from small school to big school and then gets drafted the new school gets credit. There are certain G5 schools that have a reputation for having guys drafted almost every year, La Tech comes to mind I imagine those days are over. Both schools should be listed in my opinion, the inability to points to players in the pros from your school hurts G5 recruiting even more.
Thanks for sharing. Excellent insight!
For what it's worth I came across this tonight from Manny Navarro's article in the Athletic:
"If you’re looking for a game in which passing records might be broken, tune into North Texas’ visit to Texas Tech on Saturday at noon (ET). North Texas’ Chandler Morris ranks second in total passing yards (737) and faces a Red Raiders defense that ranks 129th in passing yards allowed per game (310.5). Texas Tech’s Behren Morton, meanwhile, ranks fourth in passing yards (701) and faces the 128th-ranked pass defense (306.5).
Morris will throw for more yards (400-plus) than Morton (280-plus), and the Mean Green (9.5-point underdogs) will pull off the 38-34 upset in Lubbock."
