...and, some are saying, 'Yes.'

Does this please me? Yes it does.

Some say the quality of the recruits saying 'yes' hasn't changed much from when Dickey and Dodge were here. Other say it has changed.

I don't really know other than to say we seem to have more of them (high school football players) committing earlier than at any point and time in the past.

Literally thousands of years have gone by since this area has seen such commitment so early. Not even the Apache and Comanche were as dedicated to the area as these new band of commits seem to be. We will see whether they stay or whether they follow the buffalo and cattle in season to pastures further away.

When you have a kicking kicker, he kicks and the ball goes through the goal posts; and, yet, I say, "Give me touchdowns instead of field goals!" No one can deny the values are different and sometimes swing the balance of a game to one side or the other.

Tacklers tackle, and we are in need. We dance and dance and shout the names of Geronimo and Quanah Parker until our neighbors finally can take no more and call the local authorities. Not everybody has to be at work at 8:00 a.m., but our neighbors seem to.

When we have runners run, hands up make catch, make catch, and drive away the spirits of Dropity Drop Hammer Hands. Can I tell you of my bountiful corn harvest? NO! We are nomads in this land until our Dan makes a stand...on one hand...singing with the band...before going to the can.

      A-Scott Projected to OU

      St. Johns is one of the great sleeping giant jobs in the nation. They have a fantastic basketball history (they haven't been that great for the last generation or so, but the Johnies do have a helluva tradition) going back about 80 years and they play in NYC at MSG.

      Recent Past With all the excitement over Tylor Perry we quickly forgot about the best player from our recent past. The stats and awards bear it out. In my mind the answer is Javion Hamlet. No other player has accomplished what he has. https://meangreensports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/javion-hamlet/4731 Imagine what he would have accomplished if the 2020 NCAA Tournament had not been cancelled. We won the Conference in 2020 and arguably that was the best team we have ever had.

      Judge orders Florida State, ACC to mediation to settle suit

      A majority of schools could just vote to dissolve the ACC. There would be a court fight, but eventually schools that want out will be released with some greatly reduced financial penalty. It's like a divorce, you can't keep someone in an unhappy relationship, even with a contract. It will happen probably before the end of next year at the pace things are moving.
