New computer and cell phone wallpapers

I've added new wallpapers for desktop and laptop computers and mobile devices, including high-resolution smartphones and tablet PCs, to Mean Green World.

As always, everything on Mean Green World is free.

Many of the new offerings, naturally, are of Apogee Stadium. The desktop/laptop wallpapers are with and without the 2011 football schedule. I also added a new wallpaper of the Administration Building.

I planned to do a few new wallpapers for cellphones this year and went researching new sizes, only to discover that ninety percent of my previous mobile-device wallpaper sizes were obsolete. Had to chuck 'em all and create wallpapers in fifteen new sizes (bringing the total to seventeen sizes). And I triple-dog dare you to find another university that has so many different sizes of wallpapers on the Internet.

When you view some of these mobile-device wallpapers, they are going to look much larger than your device's screen. That's because your smartphone or iPad has higher resolution than the Internet on your computer monitor. Save them to your device and they should fit just fine.

I've also updated the Flash banner on the top of each page with more recent images (though I kept one rumored to be a favorite of many viewers).

      A-Scott Projected to OU

      St. Johns is one of the great sleeping giant jobs in the nation. They have a fantastic basketball history (they haven't been that great for the last generation or so, but the Johnies do have a helluva tradition) going back about 80 years and they play in NYC at MSG.

      Recent Past With all the excitement over Tylor Perry we quickly forgot about the best player from our recent past. The stats and awards bear it out. In my mind the answer is Javion Hamlet. No other player has accomplished what he has. https://meangreensports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/javion-hamlet/4731 Imagine what he would have accomplished if the 2020 NCAA Tournament had not been cancelled. We won the Conference in 2020 and arguably that was the best team we have ever had.

      Judge orders Florida State, ACC to mediation to settle suit

      A majority of schools could just vote to dissolve the ACC. There would be a court fight, but eventually schools that want out will be released with some greatly reduced financial penalty. It's like a divorce, you can't keep someone in an unhappy relationship, even with a contract. It will happen probably before the end of next year at the pace things are moving.
