Anyone been to the HARD ROCK CASINO in Tulsa ?

I believe this used to be the Cherokee Casino and yes I have a few years ago. Very nice, though a little smoky, and if this is the correct hotel then it's not a bad little golf course either

Oh and we plan on FIU, Alabama, Tulsa, Arkansas State, and possibly Louisiana.

I'm attending the FIU in Miami, FL. I wanted to go to the Alabama game as well but I will be in Honolulu, HI doing my internship for graduate school. I am looking forward to the new football brand of Coach McCartney. I listened/watched his press conference online. I enjoyed his optimism, energy, and honesty. He realistically knows where the program is at and I was overwhelmed with his philosophy/vision on where he wants to take it. I am confident that he will change the culture of Mean Green football! As an alumni fan who has been with the Mean Green through the good and the bad, this is the most that I have been excited for the Mean Green nation in a long time!!! See y'all in Miami to whoever is attending!

Tulsa's a good trip and they will be quite good but have a lot of new personnel, including coaching staff (like UNT!). G.J. Kinne is a load to deal with. Would like to see Dunbar battling it out with their DL.

Jonesboro, AR is an interesting town. Frito-Lay (my employer) has a big plant in town. Otherwise, there's the university and not much else. Sort of like Sam Houston or TX State given the proximity to a major metro area and small city size?

It seems like y'all have been to T-Town enough to not be overly excited about doing the trip again. I've been there as well on a one off (home only) trip. I guess the Tide really likes getting some exposure with Texas schools.

Another reason to go to the ULL game - there's a big Cajun festival going on in Lafayette that weekend. It's in Girard Park, adjacent to ULL, and it's free!

Festivals Acadiens et Créoles

Lots of music - Beausoleil and Wayne Toups perform on Sunday.

Thanks to the ad in the AAA magazine for letting me know about this!

Myself and 3 others(atleast 3) are headed up to Tulsa.

Look out Tulsa Hard Rock Casino and (more importantly) golf course. Just make sure you wear a helmet if you are on that golf course Friday afternoon or Saturday late morning, early afternoon... bombs away
