Everything you've mentioned is exactly what I used to think about our future here--about 10 years ago. Then it became obvious that we just flat out won't ever look at athletics like you've stated. We just won't do it. And you can't care about winning more than the administration does--its never gonna work in your favor as a fan. So you either get fed up and walk away to follow another college team like the other 98% of UNT alumni do or you give up expecting anything to change and just enjoy the time when a 9-win season rolls around here, which is not very often.
Looking at empty seats and the smuu disaster which, on its own (would cause people not to come back) would cause a large money loss in addition to sl's salary we are losing our ass. I wonder IF the football was packing the stadium, how much money we would produce to do the building we need to do in our sports?
So, if you want NT to be successful lose sl or fill the stadium in spite of him!
