Apologies, I was too excited to read past the words "John Rhadigan" and "fired" being in the same sentence. I didn't need to read further to find out the reason why he was fired, it was pretty clear.

But kudos Mr. Barnett

Rhads was pretty bad doing play by play...but I have to say that I would have given him the season. You hire a guy with no pbp experience whatsoever and this is what you get. There's no doubt he would have gotten better as time went on but I think Josh Lewin was and is so great that it was really big shoes to fill. Everytime I watch the national game on fox saturday baseball with lewin broadcasting it makes me angry they didn't renew him....hes just so great.

      St. Johns is one of the great sleeping giant jobs in the nation. They have a fantastic basketball history (they haven't been that great for the last generation or so, but the Johnies do have a helluva tradition) going back about 80 years and they play in NYC at MSG.

      Recent Past With all the excitement over Tylor Perry we quickly forgot about the best player from our recent past. The stats and awards bear it out. In my mind the answer is Javion Hamlet. We won the Conference in 2020 and arguably that was the best team we have ever had.

      Judge orders Florida State, ACC to mediation to settle suit

      A majority of schools could just vote to dissolve the ACC. There would be a court fight, but eventually schools that want out will be released with some greatly reduced financial penalty. It's like a divorce, you can't keep someone in an unhappy relationship, even with a contract. It will happen probably before the end of next year at the pace things are moving.
