Great News!! I saw Austin at the banquet and he is a big dude...Exactly the type of body we need. I would think that he could be 270-280 before all is said and done once he fills out. Welcome Austin to the Mean Green Family!! GMG!

Great.....getting him and RB Whitfield would make this a pretty good weekend.

I noticed that Texas Football listed Austin as a 6'4" 255 lb. DT. They really praised his athleticism. But everything else I've read....lists him as about 30 lbs. lighter, and a DE. (I think that's probably right).

But like Harry said....with his frame, he should be able to get much bigger and be an absolute beast in a few years. Mr. Orr......meet Coach Wintrich.

Love the updates/inside info that you have.

You have any more good news following this big recruiting weekend? Any info on big time prospects who may have been in town?

As of right now, I have nothing else for you. Cooper Jones was in town. All 3 of our QB's have very good size, so that should be a fun battle. This has been a very good recruiting season. I will update you if I hear anything else.

Not sure if you're joking. I guess they're both descended from Noah. Otherwise, I really don't see the resemblance.

Sorry to read too much into a name; honestly, I'm looking at highlight videos, such as are available, of these guys, not photos so much. Anyway, I'm cool with the South Pacific Islanders living in my neighborhood greeting me with "good day, my brother".

      St. Johns is one of the great sleeping giant jobs in the nation. They have a fantastic basketball history (they haven't been that great for the last generation or so, but the Johnies do have a helluva tradition) going back about 80 years and they play in NYC at MSG.

      Recent Past With all the excitement over Tylor Perry we quickly forgot about the best player from our recent past. The stats and awards bear it out. In my mind the answer is Javion Hamlet. We won the Conference in 2020 and arguably that was the best team we have ever had.

      Judge orders Florida State, ACC to mediation to settle suit

      A majority of schools could just vote to dissolve the ACC. There would be a court fight, but eventually schools that want out will be released with some greatly reduced financial penalty. It's like a divorce, you can't keep someone in an unhappy relationship, even with a contract. It will happen probably before the end of next year at the pace things are moving.
