About to watch #13 Highland Park vs #28 Everman. Should be a good one. This is a literal home game for HP.

SMU attendance counters say there are 48,000 here.

In other news, we are sitting next to J.J. Johnson's uncle. He says the team is PUMPED and believe this is their year. Said "They've got that real college offensive coordinator now.". :-)

E thanks for tge update. let us know if you spot some good prospects on either team!!

As far as I remember, I think that an smu transfer kicker by the name of Whit Smith was the last Highland Park kid to play for NT back in the early 80's. I think the anti-Denton propaganda campaign begins in pre-school these days.

HP throws a pick. The returner had an escort of THREE men...none of whom touch the QB who then makes the tackle. Still 12-7

That was freaking HILARIOUS. Everman's coach needs to condition his players and not burn 2 TO's in the third, and the last TO early in the 4th. That cost them.

Same thing with Cedar Hill. Discipline your team. 80 penalty yards in the first half is unacceptable. Save your TO's, although the refs gave CHHS a 4th TO with about 2:30 to go.
