Lost a badly needed defensive guy to TTech, and gained ANOTHER wide receiver... from Nicholls State? I guess I should be more positive and look at the bigger picture. NT signs one more WR and we get the "Amazing Food-Chopper" thrown in for free! That's a $29.99 value!

GMG!!!... <_<

I'd much rather get a snuggie or shamwow thrown in

Hey Riley needs WR's to throw the ball to. Ease off the tons of WR prospects TD has gotten for his son.

This same post the past few weeks is a bunch of tired crap. To repeat, I'm pasting an earlier post (with update) that refutes assertions we have too many WRs and shouldn't keep signing them:

What is this plethora of WRs you speak of?

Returnees by No. of catches:

Lott

Dickerson

Roberson

B. Johnson

Redshirted/unknown commodity:

Rucker

Taylor

Barrett

Brigham

Jamel Jackson (special teams specialist injured, never played)

Mid-year guys:

Outlaw

Jamaal Jackson (damn, that could be confusing)

Stradford (not until 2010)

True freshman:

Mayberry

Carey (don't know if he'll play WR or RB...or QB if things get unhinged there)

That's 13 available next season without Stradford and not many catches or much experience. If we get down to other walk-ons not even mentioned, we're in trouble. You seriously underestimate our level of need at this position, given our current predisposal towards attrition/injuries.

He's closer than you think...

I really wish Vito and Troy would comment in each other's threads. Really fire some shots back and forth. Maybe someone could set Brett up an account that doesn't use his real name. Oh yea....... and Troy too.
