I ran into The Swami getting a hotdog outside of Fenway before a Red Sox game a couple years ago and the man was absolutely wasted...reeked of booze. I'm pretty sure he was working that game. Wouldn't surprise me if he was all kinds of boozed up this time, too.

Can someone in TV/Radio possibly explain to us what is that he's pissed about? I want to believe he wouldn't be that pissed if he didn't have a reason? In the two movies I've been a part of rants like this isn't uncommon at all but a few of them were way out of line. But that's in movie production, not TV. Just curious here. Still I can understand him being frustrated when things don't go as expected, just not like that and to that point of exploding?

I think he was griping about people moving behind the cameras during the broadcast. It's very distracting.

I know I must be in the extreme minority right now, but I have always liked Chris Berman. Believe it or not, sports reporting was boring before him.

Everybody gets pissed here and there. Especially with idiots at work.

It's OK if you've never liked him, but now everybody's going to jump on the "let's wave our shame on you finger" all over this dude just from one youtube clip.

it does look like he is pissed off cause people are moving aroudn... but that is normal on a tv set. cameras that arent 'hot' are repositioning every time they are down, the floor director is moving around other talent have to position themselves.... Berman is being a diva right here in my opinion

---I doubt that we are talking about normal necessary movement. One comment seem to indicate people had even ducked under a camera to get where-ever they wanted to go.. I vote with him... keep the movement to a minimum when on the air. He and Dan Patrick are two of my favorites. They take sports semi-seriously but realize it should be fun also. I was sad to see Dan Patrick not on ESPN radio anymore.. His replacement is awful.

I have liked Berman too, although his schtick has become old. It's kind of funny to see a side of people that you have never seen.
