Too Many Missed Chip Shots, Next Kicker?

I'm not sure much can be done about it this year, but, I think at least one scholarship should be used on the best high school kicking recruit we can sign. My candidate: Euless Trinity (of course) kicker Perry Negreiros. I've never known of him to miss an extra point; last week he kicked a field goal of over 50 yds.

Onthat note, weren't there several opportunities tonight when we could have at least attempted a field goal?

Dodge could do what Houston Nutt did 4 years ago after back to back dismal kicking games, he made a plea to the student body for a kicker and four showed up to try out. The winner ended up kicking for 2 more seasons and was on scholarship his senior year.

I think Denton High has a good kicker.

      A-Scott Projected to OU

      St. Johns is one of the great sleeping giant jobs in the nation. They have a fantastic basketball history (they haven't been that great for the last generation or so, but the Johnies do have a helluva tradition) going back about 80 years and they play in NYC at MSG.

      Recent Past With all the excitement over Tylor Perry we quickly forgot about the best player from our recent past. The stats and awards bear it out. In my mind the answer is Javion Hamlet. No other player has accomplished what he has. https://meangreensports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/javion-hamlet/4731 Imagine what he would have accomplished if the 2020 NCAA Tournament had not been cancelled. We won the Conference in 2020 and arguably that was the best team we have ever had.

      Judge orders Florida State, ACC to mediation to settle suit

      A majority of schools could just vote to dissolve the ACC. There would be a court fight, but eventually schools that want out will be released with some greatly reduced financial penalty. It's like a divorce, you can't keep someone in an unhappy relationship, even with a contract. It will happen probably before the end of next year at the pace things are moving.
