Jim Harbaugh is my favorite former NFL player turned NCAA coach for the day!!! I hate USC almost as much as I hate the Sooners... It's not even the fact that USC lost... It's that Pete Carroll lost. I hate that guy.

The recap on Yahoo sports mentioned that the Stanford backup quarterback, I can't remember his name right now, (the starter got sick midweek) is a nephew of Jack Thompson, famed as the "Throwing Samoan" at Washington State a few years back...this looks like another good year for those with Polynesian roots playing college football. I think we'll see some lined up against us when we play Navy.

Man, Harbaugh is a blast to watch coach. He is so freaking into it and emotional, it's really entertaining. Wasn't Stanford winless or close to it last year/year before? He said before the game that he knew they could win, told his wife he knew they WOULD win, and then they went out and did it. First team to beat SC at home in 6 years. What a turnaround.

If I remember correctly, he did visit the campus and interviewed for the HC position.
