Nice game by ASU. They actually outgained Texas in yardage.

Great for ASU!!

I dont know why but I've always been intrigued with ASU as a school in general. I guess ASU really wanted to prove something tonight and though I am sure you didnt see anything near what the Horns are capable of doing, it was still nice to see them make it a game from beginning to end.

I'm really giddy about next weeks UT/TCU game.....I really sense an upset here. Though would a #22 team beating a #4 team really that THAT MUCH OF AN UPSET??

We kept watching that score at Owens Field and wondering if ASU could pull out a win? I couldn't help but think back on our game down there in '88. This is why so many of us older nesters have always expected a "I didn't come here to lose" attitude.

By the way, any word from Troy's fans on their game against Pig U? Looked like they gave them a pretty good game also?

The Belt is raising the bar!

      Doesn't seem new, but unlimited transfers

      I can't blame them, the system in place allows them to profit and to move freely. We may not like it, but it's the system. I'm hoping schools taking over the collectives, it's already happening for reasons I stated above, will usher in contracts and buy outs for players. We've opened Pandora's box so we aren't going back to amateur sports, the best we can get out of it is payment on our investments.

      Agree, there was some semblance of programs doing the right thing and following the rules even though they were always getting busted for violations, and everyone knew cheating was going on. It's why I was saying the veil is off now, and making everyone play by those rules has supercharged the whole thing. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the schools aren't supposed to work with NIL collectives to get players right? But everyone including UNT is 100% working with these collectives to send out deals to players. Same kind of fake rule following like we used to have, just more of it now.

      I’m not the type who’s going to say, “I’m done with college sports” and that be it. I’m moreso the guy whose interest is just going to wane to the point that I don’t watch anymore. It would actually free up a lot of time that I could be more productive🤣🤣

      I don’t completely disagree, but at least they used to have sit out a year if they transferred. If I’m going to lose a year of eligibility, I’m going to think long and hard before I leave for another school. Now? No reason whatsoever to stay.
