Was watching CSTV early this AM and saw what I thought were some UT/UNT video clips from past games.

Well......upon further review, it was the Baylor Bears in that video clip wearing "OUR" green and white. ohmy.gif BTW, UNT is the only university in the Lone Star State whose official colors are, uh, "green and white." unsure.gif Has Baylor made a color switch w/o telling the rest of us here in Texas? rolleyes.gif

NOTE: As most polls on GMG.com, this one will also "not" be a scientific poll since many non-UNT affiliated registered GMG.com voters will probably participate in this poll.

Regarding the root beer poll and comment-----

1. Moslems do not recognize King David.

2. Jews do not recognize Jesus Christ.

3. Baptists do not recognize each other when they meet at a liquior store.

Don't get upset---- I am a Bavarian Baptist......A Southern Baptist that likes beer with my with pizza..... LOL .......... (Bavaria is in Southern Germany)

---Personally I think Baylor is a "thief" to use Green and white like us.... and that goes for using our ""GREEN on Green Texas Flag" as well. Guess they are just envious of us. The movie Necessary Roughness with FFR "proves" we have had it a long time. They should do the Christian thing and not steal.

Wow, that was interesting to look through. What on EARTH is San Jose State thinking with that helmet change...I really liked the old ones. And what is with everyone going with the crazy Nike style piping and stripes all over their jerseys? I actually like the simplicity of ours. Baylor's new ones are not bad either.

Just FYI Baylor has worn white pants at times fo a very long time. I can remember some games in Waco when UNT was NTSU and the uniforms were very close. My understanding is the pants will be gold this year so I don't think this should be an issue after Sunday. Good luck tomorow in Austin and for everyone that is driving down for the gme have a safe trip.

---Considering some rabid Baptist Deacons I have known (some were uncles) I am shocked that Baylor is playing on Sunday. They were always criticising others (including my family sometimes) for not "keeping the Sabbath Holy"(usually skipped Sunday night). Guess they will have to miss Sunday Evening Church services to watch Baylor start the season.... LOL....maybe they are hoping to beat the Hell out of those Texas Christians...... perhaps that will be considered a religious experience. ...LOL

      St. Johns is one of the great sleeping giant jobs in the nation. They have a fantastic basketball history (they haven't been that great for the last generation or so, but the Johnies do have a helluva tradition) going back about 80 years and they play in NYC at MSG.

      Recent Past With all the excitement over Tylor Perry we quickly forgot about the best player from our recent past. The stats and awards bear it out. In my mind the answer is Javion Hamlet. We won the Conference in 2020 and arguably that was the best team we have ever had.

      Judge orders Florida State, ACC to mediation to settle suit

      A majority of schools could just vote to dissolve the ACC. There would be a court fight, but eventually schools that want out will be released with some greatly reduced financial penalty. It's like a divorce, you can't keep someone in an unhappy relationship, even with a contract. It will happen probably before the end of next year at the pace things are moving.
