I doubt he will tire out.

Figure 3-4 kickoffs per game the way our offense scores.

7-8 punts per game.

2-3 extra points/field goal attempts per game.

No problem barring an injury, we are one pulled hammy or running into the kicker injury away from going Kathy Ireland on the nation biggrin.gif

Untbowler cited my greatest fear. Spencer is a great punter, and no doubt he would probably do an adequate job with the rest of the kicking duties. What do we do when he gets injured? This is an unacceptable risk. Get a backup enrolled in Denton YESTERDAY!

Thanks for asking

We were there a week.  Hawaii was unbelievable.  Our last night we hooked up a loyal MG Fan that lives there and had a fantastic time.  In reality you would be suprised how many north texas fans we met.

There is some interest in nick. Can't say much.

Thanks for the update! Keep us posted on where Nick gets a chance if he doesn't get drafted.

We lost the kicker that we wanted to Southeastern Louisiana.

That's pathetic, and they signed 2 kickers....

Les Mulkey, K, 5-10, 175, Independence, La., Parklane Academy (Miss.)

Jeff Turner, K, 5-9, 170, Houston, Texas, Cypress Creek HS

Losing recruits to McNeese and SE La. shows how little recruits respect our program. Have we fallen that far? mad.gif

Do yall know if we even offered a ship? Or we may have at first and then pulled it back. So we can't really sit here and say we lost a kid to this or that school.

This was the kid everyone was touting as the next sure-thing in kicking for us. We bypassed other great kickers to suppossedly get this kid and he goes to SE La.? We lost 3 games last season by 3 points each, and now we have no placekicker? But everything's GREEN. dry.gif

Again, did we offer Turner a scholarship or did DD decide that there were other needs more pressing at this time like, DL, OL, etc...?
