Wow, I think that picture of Patrick speaks a thousand words.

Let's step away from all the venom being spewed on this board right now and recognize one of the biggest hearts this team has ever had on it.

He carried these guys Saturday night and treated us to yet another show.

If there's anybody that even thinks about claiming to be a mean green fan, they'll get their butt to fouts field for the last 2 games and pay respect to a UNT legend.

I hope everyone realizes what Patrick Cobbs has meant to our school on the field and in the class room and as a person.

We've got 2 more chances at home to see Patrick Cobbs. We may never see another like him.

Absolutely! I'm making the 700+ mile roundtrip along with four others. If for nothing else than to pay Patrick Cobbs tribute by being in attendance to watch his magic in the uniform of North Texas. Put aside your differences with the coaches Tortilla Gate, or whatever else ails you. BE AT THE GAME FOR PATRICK COBBS!

Got my #43 jersey ready!!

Could we do something like get a BIG cutout of a train and paint it green with the words Emerald Express on the side of it ... have it hung right behind the alumni side right behind the bench ... that would be cool

      A-Scott Projected to OU

      St. Johns is one of the great sleeping giant jobs in the nation. They have a fantastic basketball history (they haven't been that great for the last generation or so, but the Johnies do have a helluva tradition) going back about 80 years and they play in NYC at MSG.

      Recent Past With all the excitement over Tylor Perry we quickly forgot about the best player from our recent past. The stats and awards bear it out. In my mind the answer is Javion Hamlet. No other player has accomplished what he has. https://meangreensports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/javion-hamlet/4731 Imagine what he would have accomplished if the 2020 NCAA Tournament had not been cancelled. We won the Conference in 2020 and arguably that was the best team we have ever had.

      Judge orders Florida State, ACC to mediation to settle suit

      A majority of schools could just vote to dissolve the ACC. There would be a court fight, but eventually schools that want out will be released with some greatly reduced financial penalty. It's like a divorce, you can't keep someone in an unhappy relationship, even with a contract. It will happen probably before the end of next year at the pace things are moving.
