I've seen some speculation, and decided we need our very own thread. What will the first offensive play be?

How about:

J-Mo and Cobbs are both on the field. We fake to one, then the other, and then pass to the tight end for 10 yards and a first down?

I would like to see both J-Mo and Cobbs in the pro set, Jmo left and cobbs right, a handoff to jmo off tackle to the right with cobbs as a pitch man, MTSU wouldnt know what hit em

1st play will be a fumblerooski with Lineberry going for 20 yards to the NT 40.

2nd play will be a statue of liberty with a pass to from PC to Beau Davidson for 20 more to the MUTS 40.

3rd play will be a hook-and-ladder pass from Meager to Muzzy who will pitch to J-mo for 20 more to the MUTS 20.

4th play will be a double reverse to Johnny Quinn who will then throw back to Meager for 19 yards to the MUTS 1.

DD will then run 2 consecutive draw plays and we will quick kick to catch them off guard and pin them deep.

we should punt the ball on our first play. it will totally take them by surprise. They would never suspect a thing.

We do this every time we get the ball for the next three possessions.

And then, the fourth time we get the ball... we run a nice shot gun set with J-mo to the left of meager. we hand off to j-mo who quickly runs to the right and throws a pitch to Quinn who runs to the left. He then hands off to Muzzy who brings it back around to the right and appears to throw down field. Just then with a statue of liberty-esque play, we have Nwigwe who grabs the ball and swings to the other side of the field where you have Meager, who has been patiently waiting, running behind Nwigwe for the option. Nwigwe then pitches back to Meager and looks up field and punts it to put their backs against the wall. The quadruple reverse-statue of liberty-option-punt play. OH man!! it will be Pearl Harbor all over again.

An all-out straight down the field fly pattern by Johnny Quinn! The Radas' will be looking for the run, but not a run from Johnny "the Mighty" Quinn once he catches this long pass from Meager which he could very well run to paydirst for the games first score!

Undoubtedly, the first play of the game from the NT offense will be a pass.
