Hey everyone,

I've been trying to find ways to support the players via NIL, and one of the ways I am doing that is by hosting a sports card show, and bringing in some UNT players to sign autographs.

The first athlete I've hired is Chandler Morris, and in addition to the money I'm paying him, the best way to support him is by having a great turnout and making him feel loved.

So to that extent, you're all invited to be a part of that on November 16 from 2pm-3pm at Vista Ridge in Lewisville.

You can get free tickets here by using the code UNT.

Hope to see anyone who can make it there!

It would be a different demographic of audience but Shane Porter has 1.2 million followers on TikTok. I would guess college age girls aren’t big into trading cards!😂

JUST ADDED: DT Sheffield as well. I hope to see lots of local GMGers out there showing support!

Well done, agree with others this to me is a proper way to do NIL, not some shady backroom deals

@BigWillie I got there later during the signing period, so I only saw a few obvious Mean Green fans. That included one fan who repeatedly assured me we would finish 7-5. However, I chatted with some folks and it sounded like there was a really good turnout. Apparently there was a long line of fans right at 2:00 for signatures. There was a large table area for mini helmets, and there weren't many North Texas helmets left when I bought one. That was encouraging too.

We had a good time.

Obviously attendance for their signing and excitement would have been higher had we not been riding a four game nosedive. But the dudes kept a positive attitude, chatted up anyone who wanted to, and handled themselves as complete pros.

I appreciate them, and everyone who made it out!

Was the attendance much less than you expected? Hard to say? I got the impression that it was really good right when the signing period started.

Chandler and DT were very cordial and professional. It looked like they were about to take a picture with a fan's kid when I bounced.
