The game ended tied at 2, not a high point for North Texas Soccer, especially before a large crowd.

More embarrassing for the team was that they did not cross the field to sing our alma mater or salute and thank all the fans that came out to support them. That unappreciative display was total bush league and the team captains are to blame.

The fans have entertainment options and there's never too big of a rush for the teams to not be able to say "Thank you for your support".

Entertaining game.  Curious to know the details of the Hedlund ejection.  Pretty physical game.  Sorry to hear the team didn't come over and acknowledge the crowd.  The King goal to tie it up was a thing of beauty.

NT trails 0-1 at half despite their usual massive advantage in shots

Yes, waiting to hear the Hedlund apologists point out how much we outshot UTSA.

I'm glad we at least got a point out of the game but the reality is we are weak and hesitant when we get close to the goal.

We had the ball on UTSA's side of the field probably 75% of the game yet we tie, and UTSA takes advantage of two of their only three scoring opportunities.

The physicality of the game was entertaining, though!

Sad to see UTSA get so competitive with us in such a short time.  Theybshould be nowhere near usz

For UTSA this is their World Cup.

It would of course have been better if they had of acted as you deem appropriate.

However, after that debacle of a game; IMO it was a minor oversight not the afront you think.

After 30 years of never having a losing season this program should have developed a strong following. It hasn't.

The "close friends and family only" attendance they receive shows that this is not the minor oversight that you mention, but more indicative of the soccer culture at our university.

While teams at other schools are lined up singing their alma mater with their fans, our team wanders to the far sideline, aloofly removing their cleats and checking their text messages. They show that they owe their supporters nothing and are getting the same in return.

Well, being that NT has sub-par attendance for every sport; I question your logic.

Attendance at softball is pretty good, and the volleyball games are often standing room only.

OK, but those aren't exactly enormous venues.

Both are listed at 450 capacity
