Any word on Bowl destination?
I feel bad for those guys. And you are right, they have been at UNT for the long haul. Unfortunately, there are only a few. Bad Littrell years and now bad Morris years really cost those UNT players a chance at doing great things at the college level. In the 2013 season UNT finished 9-4 and won the HOD Bowl over UNLV at the Cotton Bowl. I was there with around 30,000 other Mean Green fans were. It was epic. I felt North Texas had a bright future after that bowl win. In that same year, Texas State was playing their first full season in the FBS as our replacement in the Sun Belt. Let that sink in. While other AAC programs are firing their failing coaches, we are handing out a bowl bonus. Our leadership's apathy towards accountability has allowed our football program to become a joke. There is no high note waiting for North Texas on Jan 3rd. -

Not thrilled about playing State
They finished at 7-5 They not only beat nUTSAck, they routed them 49-10. They have been FBS as long as nUTSAck has been. They lost to the eventual Big12 Champions, Airizona State by 3. Their 5 losses were by an average of 5.4 points per game. They have the 5th best total offense right behind us,…BUT…has the 47th best overall defense. (Uh oh!!!!). So I’ll ask the silly question: What exactly makes you “feel” they are somehow below us? Rick- 1

Any word on Bowl destination?
Then maybe stop complaining so much and just support those players that started here and are graduating at UNT? Rod Brown has spent his entire college career in Denton. Guys like him are very rare these days and on January 3rd of 2025, he'll be suiting up for our school one last time. We've got other loyal seniors such as Damon Ward, Alphie Guillory, Jordan Brown, and I believe Jaylen Smith. Maybe remember these guys could have left but didn't. They've lost what? Three bowl games? Let's show up January 3rd to cheer them on in hopes they can finish their careers on a high note.- 2

Good question. I would like to see us be the visitor just because that way we wear the lighter colored jerseys and we would not end up wearing black.
