Probably been noted elsewhere.....but Wyoming beat Air Force 31-19.

And....Army is 4-0......

Their next four games before they come to Denton on 11/9:

At Tulsa

UAB at home.

East Carolina at home.

Air Force at home.

Hoping like crazy....that Army is 8-0 and ranked when they come to Denton......

Yes the Mean Green need a marquee win or two or three to be considered…

Sell out ?

If we ever have a sellout....it will happen naturally (like it almost did against La Tech in '18). Our crowd that day was 30,105.....which is more than our current capacity.....but wasn't a sellout back then.

As to the crowd on 11/9.......if Army is undefeated and ranked....I predict they bring the biggest visiting crowd in Apogee/DATCU history.

We’ve got significant work to do. An 8-0 vs 7-1 battle involving an Academy and rising coach, recognized quarterback smack in the heart of North Texas on an incredible fall morning. Game Day on mound with the hill packed with fans, flags, orange Home Depot lids, Washington State flags waving outside Datcu. It’s good to dream.

DATCU’s capacity has always been listed as 30,850. And I don’t know what you mean by “natural” but that La Tech game was marketed like crazy with the Joe Greene statue and all the NFL hall of famers in attendance.

Careful what you wish for. We have not historically shown up for big games.

Don't get me wrong, I would be so fired up!

DATCU's capacity was reduced to 30,100 when the chairbacks were put in.

And as to a "natural" sellout.....I mean with individuals buying the tickets in groups of 2, 4, 10 or whatever. The game the other day........tickets were sold in huge blocks to Peterbilt and DATCU. And then they either redistributed them to employees. Or in DATCU's case.....sold them with some of the profit going to area schools.

Y'all crack me up! A few weeks ago we are calling for Mosley and Morris to step down for football Mal practice for not firing Caponi. A few weeks later we are talking about having College Game Day in Denton! HA! I love this board!

Ah, okay. Can't believe they lost that many seats in just a few sections. It's not like the chairbacks are super roomy.
