Flying worm

These shirts were being given out last night. Between these and the Yeti’s, I think it’s safe to say we see the flying worm uniforms this year.  Wonder if they’re going to be changed up, or the same as last time. I hope we get those sweet polos for sale again!  I regret being cheap those 4-5 years ago.

I didn't get a chance to go into the apparel  store last night, but I sure hope these are available for purchase.

I'd even like a version with a small logo in the corner.

I would not expect to see the worm this season FYI

I missed out on the flying worm Yeti. Wonder if those will be available again?

It’s possible but the yetis are considered promotional items and typically once they’re out, they’re out.

The only old school stuff I like is Marching Eagle and I love how they utilize his head image on the Jumbotron alongside the SOW. We’ve really hit on that renewal. I’d like the next scrappy uni to look crisper stronger.

So cool that UNT is using the Flying Worm more and more. When more sports logos are becoming minimalist, it’s great seeing UNT go against that

Best logo we ever had/have.

Not many schools un-retire a logo, but we should because it is so loved!

Don’t tar and feather me, but I don’t think we’ve seen our best logo yet. Get those downvotes ready, but someone has to agree with me. I would like us to try something new.

If the new logo involves feathers-only, No Thanks!

How about this?

Eagle Stare by Ernest Echols

I like his attitude, but it's a photo and not really a logo.  I don't think it would sit right on a helmet, and the yellow beak would clash with our green.

Something more like these??...but I don't want it to look like Philly-Eagle style either:

These are some really interesting mock ups. I like them. Not that big of a fan of the flying work coz it kinda looks like someone’s twig and berries. If you haven’t seen it, you now can’t unsee it
