Every athlete's eligibility clock begins running once he enrolls in college. That's part of why Austin Aune had so much eligibility when he came to UNT. Despite his advanced age, he had never enrolled in a college. -

2025 Homecoming Date & Opponent
I agree. I know 5 other alums that have not been contacted by Athletics in over 10 years, if ever. I don't think that our Athletics marketing or PR or whatever title they are now is reaching most NT alums, or Denton citizens, about Athletics. I don't know what they do with their time...organize luncheons? If this was a real business it would have few customers. Athletics at larger Brand programs sell themselves by being established and known on a National as well as local level. We aren't there yet to be on self serve by the AD. Also, there are plenty of school-detached transplants moving into the DFW area that we should approach, as well as our own alums...duh.- 1
