THE BAND (Bowl Version)
2024 Texas State Bobcat Marching Band pre-game show - Search Here is the Green Brigade's competition at the Bowl game. It looks like they have 200 instrument-playing members, and they get just as big a sound as our bloated 400+ band. PLUS, they are more energetic, and enthusiastic when it counts.....pre-game. You don't see them sauntering from one point to another on the field.......playing a tired old march (American Emblem). They enthusiastically play tunes that are tied to their school. This is a great football band! -

Couldn't have been awarded to a better ambassador for UNT. Congrats @UNT 90 Grad - hopefully my friend (and alumni) who just started at your work connected with you like I told her to. -

Portal players leaving
That's what I have been told by those close to the situation. Regardless, I'm not sure I see Riley as a "darling of the program." At least on this board, I see a lot of mixed feelings about him. When I think of "darlings of the program," I think of players like Mason Fine, Brandon Kennedy, Johnny Quinn, Lance Dunbar, Patrick Cobbs. I can't think of a player who transferred out of North Texas who would be held by fans in comparable esteem.- 1
