In what order do you see the new 2023 AAC football league playing out?

We needed the coaching change.  I feel we would not be any better this season had Seth stayed and finished his contract.  But this change should have happened the year prior.  I am looking forward to the new energy this new staff brings to the program.

I agree we needed a coaching change, but they waited way to long to fire Seth, they were several weeks into the transfer window when they announced a new coach.  Seth should have been fired no later then week 8, and a new coach should have been named before the transfer window opened.

La Tech, FIU, ACU, Temple, Navy, Tulsa, UAB,

No reason we shouldn't win at least 4 of these games. With our easy OOC schedule, anything less than 5 wins would be very disappointing. I'm expecting 6-6 or 7-5.

If it were next year, I'd have a higher number of wins, but with all the changes (HC, Offense, Defense, QB) we'll need a little bit more time to get to full speed.  Unfortunately, our easy part of the schedule is in the beginning of the year where we'll more than likely working out the kinks.  La Tech is one of those games where if we played later maybe a W and its on the road.  Navy, is a tough team to play always because of the option offense and it's on the road.  UAB has had our number for years, so I was going with my gut.  My GUESS is our 4 wins are FIU, ACU, Temple and Tulsa.  But I could see La Tech, Navy and Tulsa going either way.

I used to see us somewhere in the top

3rd but now am beginning to worry with the defections if we will make the top half.  Also SMUt and Tulane are adding a ton of portal talent.

Who did Tulane get in the portal?

To have a positive and inviting front porch to our university. Duh. Football been positive and inviting for you?

I wasn’t singling out football but responding to Sunshine Mike Jackson’s post.

They were pretty bad last year, and although they got a ton of transfers, only a couple look like anything great as far as I can tell (QB from Boise, and a former 4 star from Baylor)

They should be better but not great. They always seem to play tough though

Not sold on Cumbie as a head coach.

I THINK La Tech has beaten us 8 of the last 10 times we have played. I also THINK Arkansas State has beaten us the last 10 times we have played. I am too lazy to look up but am sure someone will correct me.
