It looks like he is a Freshman qualifier, so I believe he could come after this semester.

The only stats that I could find from last year are 9 receptions 106 yards and 2 TDs.

He seems very raw but really athletic.  Gilbert will need to coach him up. With the departure of Gumms and limited TE use in this offense, it wouldn't be a bad signing.

Last year, the Washington St TE only had 12 receptions. Additionally, I read one of Vito's articles that the WRs will have a bigger route tree and there are a lot of 4/5 WR sets. 

I'm just basing it off of past stats. In 2021 at Incarnate Word, 3 TEs had a combined 22 catches. It seems that TEs will not be the main targets in this offense. Things could change, though. I'm not an OC, just a bored Financial Services consultant.
