Wow. You are planning to do ASU even dirtier than UNT did with coach Mac. I am impressed.

 

To be clear UNT didn't really do anything wrong when it comes to Mac and ASU, but i feel folks at ASU were somewhat unhappy to learn UNT saw itself as powerful and money-abundant enough to take their coach whenever it wants and then go and execute on it without ASU being able to do anything about it. Said something about the hierarchy of things.

It's the nature of the game. Arkansas State and UNT realize we aren't amongst the top dogs. We're launch pads. If Hodge goes to ASU and succeeds, some program out there will swoop in and hire him away. I'd rather it be UNT than another but regardless it will happen.

and when Ross or Grant are hired away, too bad for us.  Just the way it is.
