Conference records;

Current  6-6  T5th best record

21-22   10-7 6th

20-21   10-4  4th

19-20     6-12  T11

Not a bad record, but obviously not championship level

Most fans and I want Mitchell to be a great success as a head coach.

If anyone deserves the benefit of the Doubt, it is Jalee.  

However, I think Mitchell needs NT to finish if not strong at least on an upward arc to get another year.

I would say at a minimum, a winning conference record and not getting blown out in the CUSA tournament

The other factors that also need to be considered are the available coaching pool and the financial implications of the status quo versus hiring a new staff. 

If there is a good chance that NT could land a coach with much better potential, than it should be strongly considered.
