I can confirm ref crew is not on a visit to UNT

True, but Tx St has a lot more holes to fill than we do. Their last HC messed up their roster with all of the transfers and little HS recruiting.

To echo what @jtm0097 said. I know it is frustrating to see Tx St have 20 guys committed and us having 3 that are public ( and a couple more that are secret for now). But we truly don't have a lot of open spots at the moment. I think we had a 11 last time I asked and that is not counting the ones we have secretly committed. I think you will see us add majority HS kids. You can see by the offers we have offered. Most are HS DBs and a few LBs and OL. Look for us to add a couple skills position guys as well. Then we will go through spring and we will have some exit to portal. Then I believe we will back fill with portal guys after springs. Unlike TX State our cupboard is not empty. Tx State is trying to fill an FBS roster at moment. We are trying to take next step to be competitive at the top of the American. Think it is a two year process. So no need rushing and making decision that will hurt you later.
