They play a bit dirty sometimes but they fly around like crazy and have good athletes.  Being a UH guy, I’ve seen em plenty and they always have the capability of beating anyone at anytime but they can also lose to anyone at anytime. I can’t wait to pass them up cause we can totally do that.  Nothing against them, just seems like we can pee on that fire hydrant if we can get our S together and Eric has me believin.

From my understanding, Coastal had some patchwork going on on defense.  Some usual starters didn’t play.  Made ECU look even better.

its always hard to tell with bowl games.  Teams are never the same with players not getting to play or opting to sit out.

Yeah, you really can't judge a team by their bowl game but when looking at their results this past season, they beat some good teams and hung close to other really good teams in their losses (other than UH). They will be a tough outing for anyone if they keep that up next season

Growing up in NC, they usually have a nice team, sell out their stadium. For years, they have tried to get into ACC.  ECU games are fun!

Agree, not a team that will be easy to beat.  Looking forward to playing the new teams though.  I wonder what the Tulane squad will look like next year.  I didnt pay attention to how many are seniors this year.

When do we find out who we play or do we play every team every season? I am interested in the Navy and Temple games.  Also wondering if we get to play SMU at the Hilltop or back at home.

15, including 2 of their top LBs, WRs, 1 S, etc. They are definitely losing some big pieces next year so it will be interesting to see how they rebound from that. Still a major threat.

Not sure why it sticks with me, but every time I think about ECU, I think of the fact that this is the team Marshall was flying back from playing when the plane crashed.  Other than that, I don't know much history about them, although I do work with an ECU alumnus.

We get SMU every year, starting 2023 at University Park.

2023 home: UTSA, Memphis, UAB, Temple, plus non-conf Cal and Abilene Christian

2023 road: Tulsa, SMU, Tulane, Navy, plus non-conf LaTech

2024 home: SMU, Rice, South Florida, Charlotte, plus non-conf SFA

2024 road: UTSA, UAB, FAU, East Carolina, plus non-con South Alabama and Texas Tech
