Sorry about saying the ref got off the ball at 2 seconds left in the playclock; it was 5.

Look I want SL gone but dang that last series of the half would have been fine if not for the BS delay of game. It messed up the playcalling by making UNT go conservative due to the additional 5 yards. Between that and the missed PI on the interception, these refs are struggling.

And now they're calling Aune short on the 3rd down scramble making SL burn a timeout. It's ridiculous.

Edit: guess no timeout charged.

Sure. Weird call. None of it should have existed though.  Don't use your timeouts, time expires at fg or a knee by us ends it. And to half we go.

To burn through their TOs when UTSA was setting up for an end of half FG.

We got the ball back with plenty of time to score. How is that wrong? It didn't work out, mostly because we got a flag on an absurd ten second play clock, but who wouldn't want a chance to score?

Don't try to score. Don't give your offense a chance. Dude, you are rooting against Seth. Fine. We get it. But even the TV broadcast, twitter, the halftime show, EVERYONE was waiting for us to call those time outs. Why the HELL would you not want the ball back with a minute and a half?

That lousy 5 yards on first down completely kills your drive?

FWIW, 1:10 is a ton of time in college football, because they stop the clock to move the chains after a first down.   Big difference from the NFL.

With no timeouts and a little over a minute, you would trust Austin Aune to drive the field? Dude. No way. He is serviceable WITH a run game. He is not the guy. He is not Frank Harris.
